What is hyperautomation?
Hyperautomation sounds like a superpower, and it sort of is. In the world of process automation, it soars above the common robotic automation of repetitive tasks to help companies run complex, nuanced business processes without human intervention.

The term “hyperautomation” was coined by analysts at Gartner to describe the successful blending of technologies to increase the velocity and accuracy of business operations. You’ve probably already had brushes with it during customer service interactions or benefited from it—perhaps without even knowing—while taking advantage of efficient document routing or one-day shipping for an online purchase.

Although its goal is simplicity for the business user, hyperautomation involves the complex orchestration of technologies, tools, and platforms. These include business process modeling, data integration, and artificial intelligence in many forms, such as natural language generation, computer vision, and anomaly detection.

Read more about how to achieve hyperautomation and how it’s changing the way work gets done in a wide range of business sectors.
