Hello, we are having issues with PeopleSoft FTP. We setup a FTP URL. I checked the id / password outside Peoplesoft and it is working fine. For some reason it is not working from within Peoplesoft.

Any ideas ..

On Unix, there are 4 things to check for ..
1. FTP URL
2. Correct FTP Account ID and Password
3. FTP landing path and make necessary changes to your FTP URL
4. Permissions on the target folder where you are dropping files. Typically that FTP user should be part of same group as PeopleSoft group


Example from PeopleSoft - FTP://FTPUser:FTPPassword@ComputerName/DirectoryPath/ OR URL.URLID OR Record://Record_Name/


PeopleSoft provides FTP testing utility. You can use that and test the connections. Main Menu >> PeopleTools >> Utilities >> Debug >> PeopleTools Test Utilities
