Use Domain Names Instead of IP Addresses for API Endpoints |
As part of SAP’s commitment to continued investment and enhancement of our Cloud services, SAP SuccessFactors is rolling out several network changes affecting API endpoints across all our datacenters. As a result, SAP SuccessFactors no longer guarantees that our datacenters will maintain a static IP address. If your organization does not maintain any allow-lists or hardcoded SAP SuccessFactors IP address, no action is needed. During the First Half 2021 release, the Check Tool became available for Admin Alerts 2.0 Permissions to help customers transition from Legacy Admin Alerts permissions. Compound Employee API Change Within Second Half 2021 Release |
The Compound Employee API extracts employee data out of Employee Central and replicates to SAP, payroll, and benefit systems. The three-month restriction on the “Last Modified On” and “Snapshot Date” fields have already been updated in Preview Instances. As part of the Second Half 2021 release, Career Site Builder administrators will now be automatically opted in for 90-day certificate renewal notifications related to SSL Certificates. As part of this change, organizations will now have the ability to generate their own certificate signing requests without engagement with SAP Support. Learning Integrated External User Migration to SAP Cloud Identity Authentication (IAS) Second Half 2021 Release |
The Learning Integrated External User feature creates an external user within SuccessFactors Platform after the user registers on a learning site. Audit Data and Attachment Replacement Policy in Non-Production Instances Within Second Half 2021 Release |
The audit data purge policies will be changed to an Opt-In feature in Test/Development instances. Preview instances will remain Opt-Out as previously communicated. Work Permit Validation Universally Applied First Half 2022 Release |
Within the First Half 2021 Release we enhanced validations on the business keys for work permit records within the employee profile. As part of this change, the work permit validation was enabled by default as an Admin Opt-Out feature. To help ensure data integrity of employee information we are removing the option to disable the “Validations on the Work Permit Editing” within the First Half 2022 Release. Deprecation of Recruiting Requisition Reports and How to Leverage Table Reports/Stories in People Analytics Within 1H 2022 |
To avoid duplicate features, we plan to end maintenance and support for Requisition Reports by consolidating reporting capabilities via Table Reports or Stories in People Analytics. Table Reports and Stories in People Analytics provide a more holistic report across requisitions, applications, candidates, and offer the ability to permission users distinctly thereby restricting access to unauthorized data.
