The Department of Homeland Security has mandated an upgrade to a new version of the E-Verify API (v31) used by many customers in Onboarding and Onboarding 1.0. As of the First Half 2021 Release, OAuth 2.0 is supported in both OData API and SFAPI. For improved security we recommend that you start migrating from HTTP Basic Authentication to OAuth 2.0 prior to the Second Half 2022 release. If your organization is still using the HTTP Basic Authentication to access OData APIs, you will be required to migrate to OAuth 2.0 prior to the Second Half 2022 release.
