Fusion realized

December 2022 might well be remembered as the moment of the first successful controlled fusion experiment. In the decades-long pursuit of this achievement, the National Ignition Facility (NIF) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has counted on Oracle technology for high performance and extreme reliability for the intense workloads required during fusion experiments.
