What You Need to Know About Blogging
The groups platform comes from Khoros, and its blogging functionality is built in. The tool itself is straightforward. When creating a post (called articles in Khoros), you'll enter a subject line, a teaser (optional), and the body.
Getting answers to questions is one of the primary reasons members visit SAP Community. If you participated in legacy platform, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with questions and answers on the new platform.
At launch, our SAP IT team is rolling out SAP Profile, combining elements of the current people.sap.com profile (which will eventually be retired) and the groups.community.sap.com profile. If you have a profile on the community groups, that profile's username will be your username at launch. If not, your people.sap.com username will be the username post-migration.
The legacy SAP Community allowed members to earn karma points and badges by completing missions and acting productively. In the new platform, we’re moving away from points and missions, but we're still rewarding members for their behavior.
