Now the Cloud Can Come to You
A lot of companies and government agencies that may want to move IT operations to a public cloud are blocked by regulatory restrictions governing where their data is allowed to reside. In early 2016, Oracle introduced the Cloud at Customer program that gets around those barriers. The program puts a "cloud machine" in the customer's data center, the customer pays a subscription, and Oracle takes care of all updates.

Recently, Oracle unveiled a major expansion of the services available via the model, which now includes cloud applications such as Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud and Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud and more than double the available Oracle Cloud platform services. "We don't want to leave anyone out of the cloud party," says Oracle Vice President Nirav Mehta. Get details on how this approach might work for you, in Can't Move to the Cloud? The Cloud Can Come to You.
