What
a year it's been so far! The digital economy is real and it's here
to stay. This results in a staggering pace of change which brings
great opportunities along with some challenges which in
collaboration with you, we can transform into opportunities and
successful outcomes.
In this spirit, we cover the new Accounting Standard in
Revenue Recognition – IFRS15 which comes
into effect by 1st of January 2018 and SAP's Solution via the SAP
Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Add-On. The RAR Add-on
solution is available to customers who run SAP ERP Financials
solution with an active maintenance agreement, as part of their
maintenance agreement.
While there seems to be quite some time until January 2018, we urge
customers who have not yet embarked on the implementation project
for IFRS 15 regulation to immediately start planning. In most
cases, the changes in revenue recognition will require a review and
change of current business processes and flows. We have also
included a list of available SAP Enterprise Support Offerings which
can help you understand the changes as well as the SAP Solution
plus support in the implementation and safeguarding of the Go
Live.
Staying with Financials we cover the redesign and
simplification of the Australian ERP Payroll Tax Engine
which will supersede the existing solution by 30th of June
2017.
New wind is blowing through the ANZ SAP Enterprise Support team and
with that we are very happy to present you with a video of the
interview with Rajeev Gollapudi, Solution architect and senior
product manager for SAP Solution Manager 7.2. This
video outlines in 15 min the main changes and
benefits of SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
We also introduce Madina Ismayilbayli who joined our team via the
SAP Graduate program and she shares her experiences.
Within SAP Enterprise Support, we are always looking for new ways
to ensure our customers are aware what SAP Enterprise Support has
to offer and how to avail the offerings.
