It's Q4 and we are running towards the finishing line of 2016 with a well-deserved holiday season in sight to re-charge and reflect on the year that has been and the outlook to 2017.

In regards to reflection I want to thank all of you who joined us at our ANZ Enterprise Support Customer Info days. It's always great to meet our customers and hear your feedback directly.

SAP Solution Manager 7.2 has been in general availability since August 2016 and if you have not yet decided when to make the move, review the article "What Do You Need To Know About SAP Solution Manager 7.2".

One trend we clearly see is that the value of IT is measured on the benefit it can provide to the Business and business is more and more the one that directly drives budget and buying decisions.
For IT to stay relevant, it needs to expand its reach beyond the traditional support and project implementation to provide a uniform and intuitive user experience. This includes analytical data and insight to business users to enable them to make faster and robust decisions.

The article "Maximise the Value of your Existing SAP Solution with Business Process Improvement" showcases how SAP Solution Manager can help your business to detect and drive Business Process Analysis and Improvement. Respectively, review your business processes prior to embarking on the SAP S/4HANA journey.

In September 2016 SAP released SAP BW/4HANA which is the next generation of SAP Business Warehouse (BW), designed to run on SAP HANA, delivering a simpler and more powerful way to achieve real-time analytics by connecting historical data with live data stored in SAP and non-SAP environments.

In the article "Reinventing Data Warehousing with SAP BW/4HANA" we provide insight into this revolution of data warehousing. We are also very proud that Fairfax Media Pty Ltd. are one of the first customers globally to adopt the solution successfully and can see direct benefits which will support the business in this time of digital transformation which greatly impacts the Media Industry.
