New Tools Available to Build Enterprise Apps for iOS   To complement the newly released SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS and SAP Fiori for iOS design language, we have developed the first set of offerings. The courses aim to provide mobile developers and designers with knowledge, tools, education and training needed to build a new class of mobile apps that take full advantage of the new software development kit (SDK), SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Fiori for iOS. The learning journey for mobile developers within SAP Academy for iOS provides a suggested learning path along with related learning assets. It will be updated regularly as new offers and additional roles are added.       7. Being Digital – How SAP Cloud Platform Takes You There   "Computing is not about computers any more. It is about living", so wrote Nicholas Negroponte, founder of MIT Media Lab, in the fascinating 1996 book, Being Digital. That was over 20 years ago. In the book, Negroponte predicted today’s world of digital communities, connected machines and wearable computing. Clearly, the idea of digital is not new. So why only in the last few years have companies focused on becoming digital to drive their business? (This is first blog in a series explaining how SAP Cloud Platform – Intelligently connects people, things and businesses. Second blog explaining connecting people can be found here.)       8. The People and SAP Cloud Platform   In an era where businesses are differentiating more and more based on software, SAP Cloud Platform offers runtimes and services for this software to develop, deploy and run. Or better, as I said in my previous post intelligently connecting people, businesses and things. Who are the people in this sentence? It is the end users of applications running on the platform, developers who wrote them and operators who run and manage these applications.
