the past couple of years we have provided a fully configured,
optimized for developers and ready to use out of the box version of
the SAP HANA platform referred to as the
SAP HANA Developer Edition. Now with the pending launch of the
SAP HANA 2.00 SPS02 version we have decided to announce the SAP
HANA Developer Edition will be officially retired on September 15,
2017. Any existing instances that you have been running will of
course remain running as those are yours but you will no longer be
able to launch any new instances of this system.
