Driving the Future of Community
Several years ago SCN superhero Marilyn Pratt conceived of a working group of community members who had a formal consultation role with the SCN program. The original Strategic Advisory Council (SAC), comprised community members who committed to work closely with SAP to shape the direction of SCN. The SAC remains in place today, but to be frank, we haven’t done a good enough job listening to the members or building clear processes to enable them. That’s all about to change.

Getting Started – Open Sourcing ABAP Code

At the recent #SAPTechEd Lars Hvam had a few questions about how to get started open sourcing ABAP code. He’s collected some of the questions and answers in this blog post. According to Lars, if you have some cool ABAP code laying around, consider open sourcing it. "It does not have to work, it does not have to be pretty. There might be someone in the community who is working on something similar, or need similar functionality; together we can build amazing software. It might even help attracting new talent to your company."
