Revitalizing a City, Improvements Coming to Profile, Community Sessions at SAP TechEd, and Member of the Month – August
Exactly what is the role of community? What is SAP getting out of this? What is the community for? What engages people? What attracts and keeps members? Primarily it is interaction with other people. Failure to have people engage with each other will result in a slow death to any community. Almost without exception, any reason anyone gives, is to get something back, which is why they engage on the community.
Improvements Coming to Content Lists in Your Profile
It's summer (at least, in the northern hemisphere), and while many folks are out on vacation/holiday, we here at Community Central are still busy working to improve your SAP Community experience. We are on the verge of rolling out some more improvements to the profile, and we wanted to share with you what you can expect to see today and in the weeks to come. What's coming first is primary tags shown on the content lists in your profile. Also rolling out will be an indicator (a green check mark) on questions listed in the profile, to show which questions have an accepted answer.
Community Magic – Real-World Sessions at SAP TechEd Las Vegas
Every year, SAP provides an opportunity for 10 community members (non-SAP employees) who have made outstanding contributions within the SAP ecosystem to deliver a session at SAP TechEd. This year a collection of SAP Mentors, Mentor alums, and/or everyday community heroes will be taking the stage in Las Vegas in September to present what they do with a broad array of SAP technologies. Each speaker has worked hard to make a difference with their topics and here on the SAP Community. Regardless of your interest with SAP, all sessions are worth your while to check out.
As the rules of engagement between buyers, suppliers, and partners change, so do the ways we interact and collaborate – as both individuals and organizations. A strong, open ecosystem is now more important than ever, but equally important are the models of interaction. Increasingly in today's world, it's all about partnering to effectively deal with the challenges – and, of course, benefits – of digitalization.
Harish Mistri, is August's Member of the Month! He's a valuable part of the SAP Community and here's why: he's been working on SAP integration projects for more than 8 years. He started his journey as an integration consultant in Accenture and has worked for complex architectures with B2B and A2A integrations. "SAP Community is the great place for learning new things. My ways of communication come from nature and origin. I always believe in establishing good relationships with people. It feels great when you help someone and interact with new people," says Harish.
Are you thinking about Digital Transformation, Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT)? Then include SAP TechEd in your journey -- because this is where we talk technology!
SAP Inside Track Berlin is just about one month away, and we are very excited to welcome the SAP Community to Berlin, and the SAP DATA SPACE on September 2nd. Read this blog post to learn more about the agenda.
