It’s All About Trust
Blockchain is all about trust—and the ability to verify that trust. Is that contractor’s business license genuine? How about documents that show how an organic tomato moved from farm to distributor to store to table, or whether a real estate transfer is valid? The next phase in blockchain adoption, which this Oracle Magazine article explores, is for enterprise teams to identify use cases and creatively apply blockchain to them.

Blockchain is the trusted distributed digital ledger system that organizations need in order to manage transactions with external partners, customers, competitors—and even governments. “Blockchain lets you conduct transactions securely without requiring an intermediary, and records are secure and immutable,” says Oracle’s Mark Rakhmilevich. The technology is making a real difference to real organizations today.

How AI Will Affect the Future Role of the Salesperson
A seismic shift in sales is roiling B2B as well as B2C organizations. Two big reasons: customer apathy toward salespeople is growing and will likely increase to the point where a salesperson’s primary task is to close deals. And emerging technology, including AI sales agents, will likely take over most nonselling tasks.

DevOps Meets Monitoring and Analytics
The rapid proliferation of mobile and web applications built on modular microservices architectures means that application monitoring needs to be agile and automatic. At the same time, security strategies must rely on more than a good firewall, intrusion detection, and identity management. What has emerged is a common thread between security and performance monitoring.

Nimble Tech Solutions Can Defend Against Ever-Changing Security Threats
When IT leaders talk about moving to “the” cloud, they’re usually moving to several clouds. IT shares responsibility for security in these engagements, so managing different cloud deployments can lead to confusion. A key danger is “configuration drift,” in which cloud accounts wind up with inadequate security.
