We are excited to announce as of the First Half 2024 release, customers currently using the legacy company org chart will have availability to the latest org chart with an option to opt-out, and as of Second Half 2024 Release, the latest org chart will be Universal. New People Profile Experience First Half 2024 |
With First Half 2024 we are unveiling two new People Profile experiences, consisting of the Profile Preview and the Spotlight view, which will be available as opt-out in the First Half 2024 release and will be universal First Half 2025. Impact of third party cookies deprecation on SAP SuccessFactors - Google's latest Update |
As of July 22, 2024, Google has updated its approach to the deprecation of third-party cookies by introducing a new feature in its Chrome browser that allows consumers to make a knowledgeable selection that could be changed or adjusted at any time as it applies to third-party cookies. With this new information from Google, we are continuing to evaluate our solution and will inform you via the blog when we have information to share. SAP SuccessFactors customers using a Corporate IDP solution or Basic Authentication must move to SAP Cloud Identity Authentication (IAS/IPS). Deprecation of Basic Authentication and Third-Party Corporate Identity Provider (IdP) Direct Integration with SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite Basic Authentication and third-party direct integration with SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite will reach end of maintenance and support on June 2, 2025, and be deleted on November 1, 2026. We are requesting for all systems to be migrated to the SAP Identity Services -Identity Authentication service by this time. Please review the blog for more details. Enabling IAS End-to-End Workshop Oct 2024 The workshop's purpose is to enable our customers to understand the process of integrating HCM with SAP Cloud Identity Services in SuccessFactors. IAS is a prerequisite for Joule, Stories, Internal Career Site, and SAP Work Zone. We want to encourage customers who are taking the initial step to migration to IAS/IPS and welcome you to this workshop. Onboarding 1.0 End of Life Announcement 1H 2026 - Customer Open Office Hours Available to Customers |
As previously communicated Onboarding 1.0 will reach the End of Maintenance in 2H 2025 and Deprecation as of 1H 2026. The newest version of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, focuses on integrating people, process, and technology to create modern engaging and efficient onboarding journeys that nurture talent and drive long-term success. Update on Latest Goal Management |
The Latest version of Goal Management has been in General Availability since the 1H 2023 Release. This new experience provides users with a redesigned UI and an improved experience related to create and manage goals. In addition, we've introduced new functionality including integration with CPM and Dynamic Teams. With the First Half 2024 Release, we have made the Latest Goal Management available in Product instances as opt-in and in Preview as opt-out. You will continue to have the option to manually upgrade to the Latest Goal Management. Please Note: If you do manually upgrade in production, you WILL NOT have the option to revert to legacy. We plan to universally roll out the latest Goal Management in early 2025. Please review the Customer Community blog for more details. |

Opt-Out of the new Integrated Learning Experience (ILX) to be removed in 2H 2024 Release
|
In the Second Half 2024 release, customer instances that meet the pre-requisites for the Integrated Learning Experience will no longer be able to fully opt-out of this new experience. With the release, ILX will be enabled as a side-by-side experience and allow users to move between the old and new experience. Customers can still set the default experience to either the new or old experience. This is in advance of our plans to Universally upgrade to ILX for all customers in 2025. Retirement of Classic Experience in Stories and migration to Optimized View Mode (OVM) |
As of the First Half 2024 release, we have begun the announcing the retirement of the Classic Experience for Stories and the eventual move to Optimized View Mode (OVM) for reports. Finalized dates are yet to be announced, but you can review the tentative plan in our SAP Analytics Cloud Classic Stories blog. Updating Classic Experience Stories to use Optimized View Mode is a simple process and is outlined in our Optimized Story Experience blog. |
