Taking apps to the next level with SAP HANA and Hibernate
Announced at SAP TechEd in Barcelona in November, SAP is introducing a new and improved Hibernate dialect for SAP HANA. This will help devs who already build Java apps with Hibernate migrate their apps to or build new apps on SAP HANA. Hibernate on SAP HANA removes the need to map objects to structures used in relational databases making developing Java apps much easier. It reduces the amount of coding required and makes it simpler to migrate existing apps developed with Hibernate from other databases to SAP HANA. To learn more, read this blog. What is the SAP Data Hub?
Introduced at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas in September, the SAP Data Hub is a data sharing, pipelining and orchestration solution that helps companies accelerate and expand the flow of data across diverse data landscapes. It enables you to perform data integration, orchestrate the movement of data, provide governance capabilities, and use Big Data processing to create data pipelines based on the serverless computing paradigm.
