Fiori UI, Homepage and People Profile
The revised dates the Fiori user experience will be applied to preview environments are 25 and 26 August. As of that weekend, customers who have NOT enabled the three Fiori User Experience features will notice the change in their preview environment(s). Standalone Learning
As communicated in the Compass, community, and release content, with the Q3 2018 release, SAP SuccessFactors will no longer support standalone Learning (LMS instances not integrated to the SAP SuccessFactors Platform). We strongly advise all standalone LMS customers to integrate their Learning environments with the SAP SuccessFactors platform to avoid running unsupported and potential service disruptions.

Updated OData APIs
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) allow developers to extend, integrate and build new solutions. The following APIs will be deprecated in favor of Open Data Protocol (OData) technology: Partner/SOAP, SOAP SFAPI for Adhoc Reports and all other SOAP SFAPIs for simple entity/object types, except for CompoundEmployee. The new APIs, available in Provisioning, should be used for all new development. Learn more.

Transport Layer Security enhancement to TLS 1.1 or above
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a protocol that provides privacy and data integrity between communicating applications. SAP SuccessFactors will only support TLS 1.1 or higher in alignment with security and data integrity best practices. TLS 1.0 will no longer be supported and connections to SuccessFactors that rely on TLS 1.0 will cease to work. For additional details and deprecation schedule, review this KBA.

Planning ahead: Succession Features UI, Career Development and Career Worksheet UI
Q1 2019 will be the last release in which you can productively use older UI versions of: Succession Org Chart, Matrix Grid Reports, Talent Search and Legacy Talent Pools, Career Development Plan and Career Worksheet.
With our Q2 2019 release we will auto-migrate any customer who has not already migrated. If you have questions about these migrations, please refer to the Customer Community Succession and Development pages and SAP Help Portal Succession Implementation and Admin Guide and Development Implementation and Admin Guide.
